ISI Competition fees will be paid directly to the coach that puts you on the ice.  Fees for Tiesha can be CASH or Venmo (@tiesha-dimaggio).  If you are paying with Venmo, please indicate in details 2024 TOR If you are paying in cash, be sure that your payment is in an envelope and is clearly marked on the outside with the skater name and events.  If you are unable to pay on or before the event date, please let your coach know.

Competition coaching fees reflect the time spent with the coaches for off ice warm up, on ice warm up, the event, and support after the event.

ISI Event Coaches Fees:
      • $40 for first event (if a skater is only competing in solo compulsory, the first event fee is $20)
      • $20 for 2nd-5th event
      • $10 for 6th+ event
      • $5 for interpretive only (will only warm skater up prior to reporting to music room)
      • Travel:  Any competition requiring travel (mileage, hotel, airfare, etc) will be discussed prior to the announcing the event.

ISI competitions are done as a team where all of our ACT coaches chip in and assist to cover the skaters and the duties required of coaches so the event can run smoothly.  You may not always have your primary coach putting you on the ice but we will have all assignments covered for all of our skaters.  We will assist with warm up for interpretive events but once the skater reports to the rink assigned area for listening to the music, coaches are not allowed in that area

All skaters earn points for their events and those points are all added up and totaled.  The skating team (club) who has the most points wins a team trophy.  Skaters get points as follows:  1pt-participation, 5pts-1st place, 4 pts-2nd Place, 3pts-3rd place, 2pts-4th place, 1 pt-5th place.  So a skater that earns a gold medal will receive 6 total points for their team for that event.  Skaters are awarded 1st-5th place and any skater that does not come in the top 5 will earn a 6th place medal.  Team trophies will be given at the end of the event once all results are tallied.

Other competition reminders
  • Skaters must be checked in 1 hour prior to your first event WARM-UP TIME (not event time…otherwise you may miss your warm up) You will need to check in at registration desk.  For any additional events or the first event of the day, you can arrive 45 min prior to event warm-up.  Events can be run early so you do not want any surprises!
